Spring – A Time to Refresh and Renew

bullet journalling

Spring – that wonderful season is about to begin. The weather is warmer, the days longer. What does Spring mean for you? A time for new beginnings? a time for renewed hope? or perhaps for kick starting your life plan?  What do you think? I can hardly believe it, we are already through the first 3 months of the year, a quarter of the year has passed so far!  We are almost into April and with it, we will hopefully leave Winter behind, and march purposefully into Spring.  It doesn’t seem that long ago we were getting over Christmas.

Spring – one of my most favourite times of the year

I have always found Spring one of my most favourite times of the year.  And this year it has worked in perfectly with me wanting to take stock of where I am, and what I want to do.  What stands out quite strongly for me is that I want to  revisit my resolutions and intentions for 2019, with a view to making them happen. And I have found the perfect tool to help me.

Bullet Journalling

Bullet Journalling – have you heard of it?  It is something I tinkered with a couple of years ago.  At the time I was very impressed and made a good start, but for various reasons, it all fizzled out.  This time though it is going to be different!

There is a wonderful detailed guide to the Bullet Journal Method by the author, Ryder Carroll.  When I first glanced at it I thought it was a bit too scientific for me, a bit too geeky.  But all that has changed.  Whilst on holiday up in the wonderful Hay-on-Wye, I have had a good delve into the relevant pages. I purchased my Leuchtturm1917 Bullet Journal, my new leather pencil case, my pens, pencils and ruler, and I am all set to go!  When you take a break you will find that this tends to be a great time to take a step back, and look at your life with perspective.

Get your holiday dates in with a break at Bowerland

Over the following weeks I will tell you how I get on. Why don’t you join me in making this Spring a time for refreshing your hopes and dreams, and rebooting your life programme.  And, as I mentioned earlier, a great way to do that is when you take a break. If you haven’t already booked up, this is the perfect time to get those holiday dates in the diary.  We still have some availability here at Bowerland. Come and join us!
