Special Notice – Coronavirus (COVID-19)
To all our amazing guests and friends. The message from the Prime Minister and Health Secretary has been very clear and we are now working on the basis that this advice amounts to a direct Government order. In the first instance we will initially be shutting down our cottages until Friday 1st May, 2020 and have personally contacted all guests who have booked for that period. If any subsequent directives become available, we will extend this date accordingly pending Government advice.
However, as your dates are after that period, and if you want to make changes to your booking, in the first instance, can you check to see if you are covered by your holiday insurance. If not, we’ll endeavour to transfer your cottage booking and any training package booked to a future date with no limits on when you need to book by. We really want to make sure you have your Devon Dog Training Bespoke Holiday as soon as possible.
We’re devastated about the current crisis going on across the world and the huge impact that this is having and we hope you are all healthy and safe. If you have a booked one of our cottages and you want to cancel your booking, check out our guidance below .
1. If I cancel my booking due to issues relating to Coronavirus, can I get my money back?
If you need to cancel your booking due to issue relating to Coronavirus, you will need to contact your travel insurance to find out what your policy covers you for.
2. Can I transfer my booking to another date?
Send us an email and as long as the accommodation is available we will swap you over to that date and transfer your training as well. We have waived our usual administration fee for transfers because of COVID-19.
3. Dog Training Package
If you have booked a training package, as long as we have availability we will swap to your new dates with no limits on when you need to book by. This is an absolutely amazing time to work at home with your dog. We can do some or all of your training remotely by our Consult Calls and we would encourage you to have a call with us as soon as possible as it’s a fantastic way to make a plan for more home schooling. We also have a challenge you can get involved in with your dog at home, message us and we will make sure you are looked after.
4. How do I get in contact with you?
All our staff are home working at the moment so we may not be able to answer your call. The best way to get in touch with us is via email. If you would like to cancel a booking, it’s best to send us an email to email@example.com – we will cancel your booking for you and you will receive an email confirming when this has been done. This email confirmation, along with your initial booking confirmation, should contain all the information your insurance company will need.
We’ll continue to monitor what’s happening and do the very best that we can in this unprecedented situation. We are an small independent family business and many different people rely on us and trust us to look after them – whether it’s visitors or staff here at Bowerland.
We pride ourselves on our honesty and integrity and during these exceptionally difficult times we are trying to make the right decisions for everybody involved so that when COVID-19 has cleared up, things can get back to normal.
