Have you heard the story about Honey?
Honey, the pretty English Cocker Spaniel saved her owner’s life from certain death following a dreadful car accident. The English Cocker Spaniel is a breed of gun dog and very popular across the world. The English Cocker Spaniel is an active, good-natured, sporting dog standing well up and compactly built. Michael Bosch was certainly grateful for his dog when he suffered the serious road traffic accident some years ago.
Honey, who was adopted from an animal shelter in California, was celebrated as the 2006 Dog of the Year, an award she bravely earned by saving her owner from a violent car accident.
She was with her owner, Michael Bosch and they were travelling along in their SUV car. Following an accident they had rolled over and were stuck upside down in a deep ravine. Her owner, Michael Bosch was trapped inside and he knew that Honey was his only hope. With all his strength, he managed to release the dog with the hope that she would somehow find help.
The brave little dog, who was only 5 months old at the time, managed to run along the road until she managed to find someone. She courageously got the attention of a man about a half-mile away from the accident. She brought him back with her to the scene of the accident. Comments later from the Rescuers concluded that had it not been for her bravery, Michael Bosch would have died.
