Dog Friendly Plym Valley, Devon (8.1km)

Plymbridge Road, Plymouth, Devon, PL7 4SR – Driving Directions from Bowerland (less than an hour).

Plym Valley is a long and gentle circular route. It is a wonderful way for you and your four legged friends to spend some time close to nature, enjoying a few hours in the great outdoors. If you’re in the mood for more of a challenge, the walk can be extended to take in the full length of the valley.

Your pup will be super happy

There are plenty of sights and sounds to appreciate while walking through the woodland, and beside the river and canal. With lots of foliage, wildlife and burrows, your pups will be super happy on this stroll. Likewise, you will be interested by some of the landmarks such as the pair of disused slate quarries, and the lovely viaduct you pass underneath as you follow the river.

Close to Plymouth

The nearest amenities are in Plymouth, which is only a short drive away. There’s lots of dog-friendly cafes and pubs in the city, such as the Seco Lounge and The Flower Cafe.
