Pennywell Farm is an award-winning organic farm attraction near Buckfastleigh in Devon. Whilst it is aimed at families and children; with or without kids, you really must pay a visit there.  Alan and I recently visited, together with my son, Lloyd, his wife Maria and my two beautiful grandchildren, Heidi and Rafe.  We are always impressed by the place, with lots to see and do.

Pet Cuddles

We especially loved the the huge variety of friendly farm animals. There were pigs, horses, goats, small pets such as rabbits, and many more. Most of them were approachable, with lots of opportunities for pet cuddles.

Many activities and rides

There were also many activities and rides to see and take part in. We all enjoyed watching the miniature pig racing, it was hilarious. Heidi also made sure she went on a few rides and played on the rabbit go karts. We had lunch there as well, it was a bit of a queue mind, but it is what you expect at this time of year. The food was perfectly adequate. So, if you have youngsters to amuse this summer, this is one place they will most certainly enjoy.

There are tons of fun activities, plus they also have a downloadable PDF of information. It is open 7 days a week, but be sure to book a ticket, as it is very popular. Read more about Pennywell Farm on their website.
