Fantastic Stay

Our Fantastic Stay at Bowerland

My name is Juliette and I live with my dog, Woody in East Sussex. I am a part time dog trainer myself, having graduated the Pro Dog Trainer and Geek courses run by Absolute Dogs. Woody is a 3 year old, mostly reformed Naughty But Nice, re-home. He is the reason I found and fell in love with games based training. He is such an awesome dog and companion now, thanks to living and learning the Absolute Dogs games based way of life.

Truly a Magical Place

Woody and I were lucky enough to spend a few nights at Bowerland. This is a truly magical place to stay. A friendly member of staff greeted us, showed us to our accommodation and ensured that we were well settled in. They also gave me some fantastic tips on great places to walk, one of which is Meldon Reservoir (pictured above). It’s super-easy to get to, and the parking is fantastic and inexpensive. Woody and I had a couple of wonderful early morning walks, looking out across the reservoir. Sheep and ponies were our company in the expanse of beautiful moorland.

The instructors are second to none!

As a training centre, I can honestly say that Bowerland is fantastic. The instructors are second to none. It is a professional, friendly and incredibly well organised site, with incredible facilities. As for the eco-friendly accommodation, I could have very happily stayed much longer. There were delicious treats for the dogs and their humans on arrival too. The thought and care that has gone into the accommodation, makes for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I am very excited to book my next holiday and training package at Bowerland and Devon Dogs.
