The Sands of Time
Do you find that time seems to be running away from you? Are you always constantly busy and under pressure to finish a number of tasks? This is the time you need to take stock – to take control of your life.
Do you try to juggle family life, alongside working life? And before you know it, you find that the day, the week, the month is over and there is still a massive list of things still to do? Do you find weekends are spent in catching up with all the hundred and one jobs you didn’t manage to get through during the week?
Life – and by that I mean time – can slip away from you and why is that? Do you want to know how you can gain control and take stock? Here are my initial suggestions to help you to stop feeling so frantic, so pressured, so rushed. Perhaps we can start with making the most of our day, each and every single day.
I don’t know about you, but I sometimes find I am lonely in my busy world. Life can be something I need to endure, to get through rather than enjoy to the full. There are two things I try to consider:
- What is it that sends me spinning?
- What is it that slows me down?
For me, indecisiveness and procrastination is a biggie. Dithering and dallying and not making a decision. Going over and over old ground without ever coming to a decision. Looking at too many options to consider, rather than just making a decision. Always looking for the perfect solution – surely if you search hard enough you will find it?
Next week I will share with you my Top Tips on how to make the most of your time!
I hope you find these tips helpful. I would love to hear what you think about my ideas, and anything else you have come up with. Tell me what you think by posting your comments below. Why don’t you Share this with your friends and family by clicking the Facebook icon or following us on Twitter?
