To Do Lists
Do you want to get the most out of your day? Do you want to achieve your One Goal for the day? And to do this every day? Or at least for some of the days throughout the week? If you are like me you will have a To Do list that is as long as your arm – with so many tasks on it, that you find it hard to achieve any results at all. I even carry forward the tasks I haven’t achieved, which makes the next day’s task list even longer.
Well, give yourself a pat on the back, at least you have created a To Do List – you are one step on the way to fulfilment. The next step in your challenge is to prioritise your goal for the day. Look at the list and select at least one goal from the range of tasks that stands out as being important, urgent, and would give you a great sense of achievement if you fulfilled it. That is the goal to pick for that day.
Try creating an action plan to help you to understand what steps you need to take to achieve this goal. If you break the task down into manageable chunks, you can tick them off as you go. This helps you to feel really good about yourself along the way. Get into the daily habit of achieving one goal – by the end of the week, your To Do list will be that much shorter!
