Michelle and Archie’s Trip to Bowerland
We booked a four day break in the Annexe in October 2018. Our journey started on the Monday morning travelling down the M5 from the West Midlands. We checked in and were shown shown to the Annexe, which was so cosy, very clean and had everything we needed. Both us and our Frenchie – Archie – loved the little welcome gifts. It was lovely having our own private garden which was safe and secure, a peaceful, relaxing place both inside the cottage and outside.
We scheduled and discussed the Intensive training package, prior to our arrival. The training, which included 10hrs of 1-2-1 sessions, was amazing. Our trainer made sure we got the best from our training time. She was exceptional and gave great advice and feedback. We learned so much about the games, techniques and my personal style. This allowed us to reflect and change to get the best results, which we’re following through with back at home.
During our stay at Bowerland, we ventured out and visited Bude Beach, which was Archie’s first time on the sand. He loved it and I enjoyed the cream tea at the beach cafe! We also visited Okehampton town centre. There were lots of little shops to browse into. I also recommend sampling the fish and chips from the new shop in the Arcade Centre opposite Waitrose. 🙂
Bowerland is such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the countryside, and get expert dog training at the same time. We definitely recommend both the cottages and the dog training. It’s also a great base to travel to both Devon and Cornwall.
We can’t wait to return and have already booked for 2019!
