Easy Peazy Liver Cake Recipe

What we love about this liver cake recipe, is that it only takes 5 minutes to prep, 8 minutes to cook… plus there is minimal washing up. Win-win!

Ingredients:

  • 500g Liver
  • 2 eggs
  • Flour (to sprinkle in)

How to make liver cake:

  1. Pre heat oven to 200 degrees Celsius
  2. Chop up the liver and pop into a blender, add the eggs and blitz.
  3. Once smooth (it should be runny), sprinkle in a couple handfuls of flour, switch the blender back on and blitz.
  4. The consistency you are aiming for is a sloppy mixture, add more flour, sparingly, if needed.
  5. Once the consistency is right, scoop out the mixture out onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 8 minutes.
  7. The baked consistency will be a solid ‘pate’ type consistency.
  8. Allow to cool and then chop up into small pieces ready to use for training and store in an air tight container.
