My January To Do List – 2017
We are still in the very early stages of 2017. And even thought the nights are getting slightly lighter, we are still way down in the depths of winter. It is true, spring is on the horizon but there is still awhile to go yet. Following on from the excitement of the New Year, and the promise of what 2017 can bring, have you written your January To Do list yet?
I have started mine. I have purchased a lovely new notebook. For me it has to be A4 as I write a lot! There are so many to choose from on the market, from the basic and functional notepads right up to the beautiful tactile top of the range ones. So, make your choice, and start your January To Do list if you haven’t already done so.
I love lists
Lists keep me organised and on top of things. They help me to focus on what needs to be done. Sometimes this tends to be more work-related. And sometimes I like to focus on more enjoyable and fun things. Things that are important to me in my life. So my To Do lists are kept in separate books. I have a Things To Do Today notepad (Pukka Pad are great for this) which I use for more work-related tasks. Then I choose a more attractive notebook to record more my more personal lists.
If I choose something that I find really attractive, these personal notepads draw me towards them in a way that makes me want to write in them. And of course, to want to read them once I have written in them. I find I go back to look at what I have written and to see if I have kept up with what needs to be done. So, top marks all around!
My Personal January To Do list
I wanted to start 2017 in a positive way by looking at what I want to achieve throughout the whole year. Therefore I have set out my store, and focused not just on this first month of the year, but the whole of 2017. My list is therefore structured on getting into a routine for the year with topics such as:
- Creative Writing
- Healthy Living
- Appreciation of Music
I would be very interested to hear about your January To Do list. Have you written one yet, if so, what is on it? Tell me what you think by posting your comments below. Why don’t you Share this with your friends and family by clicking the Facebook icon or following us on Twitter?
