Intentions for 2018 – What does 2018 have in store for you?
The excitement of a new year, a fresh start, a new beginning. I love the feel of a fresh diary, a new calendar, a clear page. All ready for you, all ready to lay out your future dreams and desires, your future year. What do you want to achieve in 2018?
A great way to start is to look back over 2017 and think about your achievements. What went well, what worked for you, how far you have moved on. Make the time to have a good review of the year, and be honest with yourself. Sometimes we don’t always focus on the things we have done well, but we tend to ponder on the things that haven’t gone so well.
Write down the good things from 2017, the achievements you have made, the times you felt happy to be you, the experiences you have had and the friends you have shared your life with. Take time to enjoy your memories, and to celebrate the year.
Then look at any sticking points. Anything that didn’t quite get pulled off. The things that you didn’t achieve. And think about the reasons why? Perhaps you didn’t plan as much as you could have, perhaps you were a bit vague with your intention, or perhaps the task simply wasn’t as important as other goals and targets.
Armed with the information from 2017, now is the time to plan your intentions for 2018. You can start all over again with a blank canvas. For me, this is something I do on New Years Eve, long before any celebrations, this is my time to sit down with my notebook and pens, and map it out. I am really looking forward to it, and this year I have a super new Ultimate Diary Planner to help me out. How wonderful!
I hope you find these tips helpful. It would be good to hear what you think about my ideas, and anything else you have come up with. Tell me what you think by posting your comments below. Why don’t you Share this with your friends and family by clicking the Facebook icon or following us on Twitter?
