Holidaying with your Hound

Many of us want to go on a real family holiday, one where the whole family are invited and welcomed. This includes bringing along our much loved family pet dog. After all, why should he be left out of the fun and games?

In Devon we are extremely lucky to have lots of different types and styles of holiday accommodation for us to enjoy. Holidays should be stress free and fun but we understand that adding a dog into the mix sometimes makes things a little tricky when they don’t possess the basic skills needed when out and about. Do you need some help with getting your dog up to speed?

We have a great solution, which combines a holiday and training. Dash2Devon is a training camp Devon Dogs run every year at South Breazle Camp Site. This year it’s taking place from 10th – 14th September.

It is especially geared towards you and your dog. The camp is a true canine activity camp and we will offer you numerous opportunities for you to brush up on your skills and to learn new ones. The camp covers so many Life Skills topics from recall to obedience, walking nicely on the lead, focus, attention, NAUGHTY BUT NICE… and so much more. And if you are looking to dabble in the world of Dog Agility this camp will give you the chance as we have lots of workshops planned which will suit dogs of any level.

Dash2Devon is a fantastic opportunity for you to spend some quality time with your dog, meeting lots of like-minded people and sharing experiences and learning.
