Topsham – A picturesque town in East Devon

Topsham is a busy town, close to Exeter but with its very own distinctive style. You will see some very attractive thatched houses, some Tudor in style. There are some fabulous shops, mostly independent ones. Great for gifts, always a popular place to visit for that special christmas present. You are spoilt for choice with an abundance of great restaurants and cafes, catering for a variety of tastes. Parking can be a bit tricky, probably best not to visit in high season.

Apart from the shops, and eateries, there is plenty to do. The riverside walks offer some lovely views. There are plenty of places to stop, gaze at the passing boats, and think and reflect about life in general. There is even an outdoor pool! You can find the sand-dunes at Dawlish Warren, and even a castle at Powderham, what more could you want?
