Have you visited Bude yet? If not, it is well worth the journey with lots to see and do for both you and your dog. You won’t be disappointed.
The first place to aim for is Summerleaze Beach, which is open to dogs all year round. Dogs need to be on a lead from 21st May to 30th September during the day time but after 6.00 pm can run free.
The beach is huge, with extensive sands in every direction. There is even a seawater swimming pool for those of you that don’t want to risk the ocean itself.
Take a look at the indoor Leisure Centre, as well as a walk through the shops in the thriving seaside town where you can purchase some great pasties, ice-cream and cream teas, amongst other things – my favourite treats all year around!
