Fall back in love with dog training

It’s totally normal to get a little stuck in a rut with your dog training, or to just accept that you’ll never be able to completely solve your dog’s behaviour struggles. Well, it doesn’t have to be this way! Here’s our top tips to fall back in love with dog training:

1. Don’t settle for the incomplete picture

Whatever your dog’s behaviour struggles are, whether that’s pulling on lead, running off, not listening when out and about, barking and lunging at other dogs/people, barking in the house. Whatever it is, know that there is always hope. There is always a solution to your struggles. It can be easy to throw in the towel, but we are telling you to keep the fire of hope ignited as we can help you. We have helped 1000’s of people with dog owning struggles. Let us help you to overcome those struggles so that owning your dog will become the reason WHY you got your dog in the first place.

2. Spice things up

Learning something new can really re-ignite your passion back into dog training. Doing the ‘same old, same old’ with your dog not only gets boring for you, but for them as well! Dive into some training that’s new to you and your dog to boost your knowledge and momentum. It’ll give you the ‘oomph’ you need! One of the best ways to really and truly ignite that training momentum and learn new things is to visit us for a dog training holiday! We know that you’ll leave not only having learnt lots of new skills and having had many, many lightbulb and ‘aha’ moments, you’ll also have an action plan to put into practice when you get home. Check out our cottage holiday and dog training packages – you can purchase a package on our Devon Dogs website, or as an extra when you book one of our cottage apartments.)
