Saturday Stories – Doggy Superpowers
Did you know that dogs actually have REAL superpowers? Think about it:
Super Vision – Have you ever been eating a meal, dropped some of your food on the floor and not been able to find it? No matter how hard you’ve searched, you’ve never quite been able to locate quite where it rolled to? This is where a dog’s super vision power comes into play, allowing them to instantly find where it landed (in most cases they’ll even take care of cleaning it up for you!).
Invulnerability – Have you ever lost a ball in a patch of stinging nettles or thorny plants when you’re outside? You try to reach in and bear the pain for as long as you can but eventually give up. Not the case with a dog, who will fearlessly charge in to retrieve it for you without feeling any pain themselves.
Mind control – When you’re eating, does your dog ever stare at you? You may think they are begging in the hope that you’ll give them some, but in reality they are actually working their mind control powers on you. It’s an ancient skill passed down from dog to dog, and it largely comes from strict practice with their eyes. Some humans are more resistant to this power than others.
Invisibility – This is a power that dogs like to keep hidden from us, usually only activated at times of severe danger such as bath time.
So let’s hear it for our unsung hero dogs!
