Charlie the Grateful Dog
This week we have a true super happy short dog story to bring you, featuring a dog called Charlie.
Charlie is a disabled dog who arrived to stay with two dog-sitters for 2 weeks whilst his owners were on holiday. With paralysed back legs, the dog-sitters could see he clearly led a very happy life but was restricted by his disability.
They decided there and then that they would do everything they could to help Charlie walk again. Their first point of call was to contact the good folks at Zed Moto for assistance. Together, the three of them put together plans to build a special wheelchair for Charlie. They worked hard over the two weeks they had Charlie staying with them, and I’m pleased to say they succeeded.
By the end of Charlie’s stay he was happily using the wheelchair, running around and playing with two other dogs owned by the dog-sitters. A great reminder that there truly are some good people in this world!
