Bram

My Training Holiday with my Parson Russell Terrier, Bram

I am a Dutch girl living in France (the Morvan), with my beloved little man Bram of 18 months. We joined the Absolute Dogs and the Training Academy a couple of months ago.  but loved to have a 121 training to help me get on the right track with Bram.

So we went on a trip to Bowerland

On the 16th of May we departed from home and stayed a night in Calais, took the train channel and arrived the 17th May at Bowerland. We stayed in the Annexe, which was great.

I recommend the little Waitrose shop at the petrol station, were you can buy instant meals (as there is only a microwave at the Annexe). And if you can, a meal at the lovely pub, the Fox and Hounds (nice food, friendly people). Bram behaved really well, he was excellent and played at my feet in the pub.

Bram’s 121 Training

The training sessions with Michelle gave me a lot of pointers to work on and opened my eyes on my trust fund boy!!  I didn’t had any expectations before coming and think that made my training experience more than satisfactory. Dog training is never a quick fix but a journey you take together.

Dartmoor

After training we went for a walk to the Moors, the Meldon reservoir and Roadford lake. We had wonderful sunny and warm weather and enjoyed the little garden at the Annexe to relax in. (Bram was tired after his training sessions). We went back to France on Friday 24 May. All in all it we had a wonderful experience and a lovely stay in the Annexe.
