Bowerland Revisited by Angela Kerr
Barney, my 3.5 year old Cockapoo, and I returned to Bowerland again this year for another dog training holiday. We also brought along Irving, my 7 month old Working Cocker Spaniel puppy.
The whole environment at Bowerland is so peaceful
It was a great experience – our training sessions, walks on Dartmoor and afterwards relaxing in the cosy cottage. The Annexe was a lovely, comfortable place to stay and it was great to have an enclosed, secure garden.
My intention this time was to learn how best to support Barney and Irving, as well as understanding their needs. I loved being able to discuss and understand what’s going on with them with the Devon Dogs trainers. They helped me to learn the games that bring out the best in both my dogs.
Puppies, Adolescent and Young Dogs Day
I loved being able to join Tom and Lauren’s class. We met other people and learned new games. It was impressive to watch Lauren’s dogs as they engaged and enjoyed themselves.

We’ll be back
I loved the training and stay at Bowerland so much that I’ve already booked more sessions!!!
