Barney, Irving and Angela’s Training
We (my dogs, Barney, Irving and I) stayed at Bowerland in November for 5 days. It is not our first time to Bowerland – we are regular visitors! We travel from Nottingham once or twice a year, spending time with the trainers and visiting places of interest and friends in the area.
The environment is lovely and the intensive 1-2-1 training sessions are brilliant. The training is second to none. The trainers really know their dogs and give good clear practical advice on how to bring the best out in your four legged friends.
I have two dogs – a 3 1/2 yr old Cockapoo and a very lively and lovable 1 year old Working Cocker Spaniel. What I really enjoy is spending intensive time learning the theory behind the behaviour of my dogs. Also why the suggested techniques will help them be happy, well adjusted and even more contented dogs. Staying on site in the Annexe affords me the time to practice and reflect on the guidance given.
I can’t recommend this way of learning with Devon Dogs enough, as it brings real confidence and ability to apply what you’ve learnt into your everyday life.
