Alfie & Isaac’s 121 Training
My 13 year old daughter and I came to stay at the Annexe for five days in November. The Annexe is lovely and very comfortable to stay in. We especially loved the close proximity to the dog training arena – just a one-minute walk! We brought our two dogs – Alfie who is a very vocal Shih Tzu and Isaac, who is a reactive cross-breed. 🙂
Before Devon Dogs
Our Shih Tzu was extremely reactive, but nothing previously worked. The methods used were frightening. Eventually I came to my senses and found Tom and Lauren. To say I’ve learned a lot is an understatement.
5 hours of 121 Training
We booked five hours of 121 Training with Michelle. We went in with a list of issues we had. Michelle was so lovely and talked us through all the problems and showed us how to deal with them. She did lots of games with us, set up courses for the dogs to do to teach and test them. Michelle also used her own dog for stooge work with Isaac.
Can’t Wait to Come Back 🐾
This is our second visit to Bowerland and we have already booked a week for next year. Alfie and Isaac were so happy when they realised where they were. In fact, they love it so much that they don’t talk to us for a few days after we get home 😀 Can’t wait to come back!
Looking forward to carrying on the games and helping our little Isaac become more at ease with other dogs.
About the author: My name is Suzanne Glazebrook. I’ve grown up with dogs and my Mum used to be a puppy walker for the guide dogs, so very used to puppies. As a family we’ve had a few dogs, two that have been reactive, we have been to many different dog training classes and watched lots of dog training videos, but none of them helped until I came across Tom, Lauren and Devon Dogs.
