Our residential agility holidays are designed to cater for all abilities of dog and handler whilst providing superb accommodation during your stay.

Devon Dogs, run by Head Trainer Lauren Langman, offers a great combination of top class agility training and comfortable accommodation at "Bowerland," based in Okehampton, Devon.

Naturally, you will expect an excellent standard of training from an agility holiday at Bowerland. Our Head Trainer, Lauren has an impeccable agility team, with Lauren herself competing at Grade 7, the top level in Great Britain, and some of her greatest achievements have been to compete on behalf of Great Britain in the World Agility Competition in Switzerland in 2006 and again in Norway in 2007. She also qualified for Olympia Agility finals in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011 as well as being nominated for the Agility Club's National Awards in the category of Best Trainer in 2008 and reaching the top 3 status in the UK.  Lauren also regularly trains internationally with, and for, one of the most successful trainers and competitors in the world, Susan Garrett. In addition we have a unique team of trainers at Devon Dogs who also compete and train regularly in the Devon Dog System. The team offers a range of experience and styles to suit your every need.  On completion of your assessment questionnaire, we will match you to the best trainer for your ability and level.

Agility Training Package - £120

In order to make the very most of your visit to Bowerland, we offer top quality agility training, whilst allowing you and your dogs plenty of time to relax and enjoy your holiday in the stunning Devon countryside. Based on a 7 night stay, on completion of your assessment questionnaire, we will prepare an individual package designed for you to suit your needs.  The package includes a 121 within the first few days of your arrival.  This will help us to focus on your particular training needs whilst you are here.  You will also participate in our Devon Dogs weekly classes, on Mondays/Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at our main Exeter venue at Newhall Equestrian Centre.  During the week you will have use of the facilities at specific times at Newhall Equestrian Centre which has both indoor and outdoor facilities.

As the week develops we will be preparing your individual training plan for you to take home, which will help you to carry on developing the skills and learning you have experienced whilst with us.  This plan will help you to focus on your training requirements, aims and objectives and to specify any particular goals and you will go home task-focused and ready to tackle your new challenges.

You can also choose to join in with other classes/ workshops or attend additional individual one-to-one lessons on an ad hoc basis, subject to availability.  Each week at Devon Dogs is different so please check the website to see what is happening during your stay.  We often have excellent guest trainers, camps, instructor and canine development seminars.
