We want you to feel right at home at Bowerland.  Whether you choose to stay in The Old Dairy or The Hayloft, please treat it as a home-from-home. While you're at Bowerland we would like you to enjoy the exceptional comfort, warmth and the homely finish in our cosy self catering cottages, nestled in the heart of Darmoor, close to Okehampton, Devon.
 
To welcome you, you'll find there are tea bags, coffee, sugar and basic cleaning materials too. Sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels are provided at no extra cost.

You can use the fully-equipped kitchen with microwave to cook your own meals, or you can visit one of the many local pubs and restaurants on the doorstep.  For details, visit the Local Activities page.

 In the bathrooms you'll find one or two luxuries - soaps and hand creams - which we hope you'll like, and clean towels, flannels and bathmat of course.  The bedrooms all have their own hairdryer too, so that's another thing you can leave at home.

For evenings in, each accommodation has its own flat screen TV and DVD player and Hi-Fi,  and if you want to catch up with your emails or surf the net, there's no additional charge for internet connection.

We even provide a sofa throw - but if you're bringing multiple dogs, you might want to bring more, as well as some doggy towels. 

You can pop them into the laundry, if you need to, for a small charge. If you are bringing more than 2 dogs, please book the Old Dairy as it has a large garden and conservatory area which is much more suitable for dogs.

If there's anything missing, or anything you've forgotten from home, please let us know and we'll see if we can help.  If not, Okehampton with its many shops and supermarkets (including Waitrose) is only 4 miles away.
